Sex and Creativity
Using my art to document my sexual awakening.
It wasn’t until I began exploring polyamory, that I learned the connected bond between my sexuality and creativity. I have always been a creative person, but monogamous relationship dynamics kept my sexuality dulled. Now having the freedom to safely explore my sexuality, I began to notice that making art made me horn, playing music made me horny, and even dancing made me horny. Combined with being sexually adventurous made me more creative! The two feed each other.
I believe that when you are fully immersed in sexual activity, either by yourself or with another, you are experiencing the best of life. All systems are engaged, you are performing at an optimal state! In the wellness world this ability to easily manifest is called the flow state. When I create art, hula-hoop, make content, I access this flow state. Of course it would make sense that experiencing this state outside of sex would activate sexual feelings and vice verse.
I want to infuse my sexual energy and story into my art and content.
My pieces so far reflect parts of my journey.

“Diogenes” — radical transparency and self reliance (comfort in my own skin)
“Mistress Jill” — discovering the world of BDSM (have only scratched the surface, but feel drawn to the principles of it)
“Blossom” — new thoughts and ideas of what is possible
“FemDom” — Rubber fashion… something I want to explore
“Submitted” — working through fears and insecurities
“Hankey’s Hex” — my first “dick”. I would play with it, pretending it was my own. Feelings of empowerment and control.
“Being Annie” — the discomfort that accompanies change has past. Balancing sacral and heart chakras.
Art isn’t the only area of creativity that has Blossomed since my awakening. I’ve renewed my love for playing music and movement art.
