Helping Men Gain Perspective
Did you know men are 3 times more likely to commit suicide than women? Coming to the decision to end one’s life is an indicator of a loss of perspective of one’s role. Providing men a change of perspective is one of the many gratifying elements of my art.
Men and women continuously redefine traditional gendered roles and new identities need to be discovered and developed. My work gives my audience a pause from their day and take a second to challenge their ideas of traditional beauty and attraction. For example, my piece “Blossom” which is a rendition of a rose planted in the hole of one of my fan’s penis. The piece is stunning and the observer’s mind is forced to calculate the overall beauty of the piece, at the same time evaluate the horrific scene that is being depicted. No matter what everyone that sees “Blossom” is forever changed on how they consider penises.
I hope my fans, which are mostly men enjoy my body type and sexual expressions as just one sexual reality. I know I am one part of my fan’s sexuality and it is fun playing that role. I feel my daily posts and artwork give more context for my fans to get to know me and thus make the sexual journey more meaningful and exciting.
So, three cheers for men on International Men’s Day and I hope to give my man-fans a well deserved rush of dopamine!
