The last shoot with my hairy pits & Bush. I had been growing them out since June of 2020. 7 months!!

…shaving is something as a woman you’re just taught and expected to do. But in all reality the hair is supposed to be there.

It’s not the first time in my life I’ve been super hairy. I remember the first time I saw a chick with hairy pits. I was a teenager and it hit me hard that shaving is something as a woman you’re just taught and expected to do. But in all reality the hair is supposed to be there.

When I was 18 I stopped shaving for about 5 whole years. It just seemed so silly to me to keep up with shaving everyday. And nobody liked me any less for it. Yet from the time I was 12 and my hair started growing, I was taught to shave it off because that’s what women do.

Now I see it as a choice. And I go through phases of shaving and not. It’s one of the many ways I reinvent myself.

Whenever I go through my no shave phases, I always let the bush go too. I personally like the way it looks better with hair vs. bald.
